Devil Horn Studios is an LLC (Limited Liability Company) located in Minnesota.  The story of Devil Horn started with a love of Halloween and horror movies from when I was a child.

I started working on setting up a Halloween display
in 1999 and loved making all of the monsters for our yard.  I spent most of my time reading all that I could on the subjects of fx and haunted houses.  I also took Dick Smith's (The Exorcist) makeup course to learn more skills that I could put to use at our Halloween display.  I found that what I liked working on even more than people (which were fun too) were my monsters.  Applying the special makeup fx and making them as frightening as possible.

Without the space to create my life size monsters year round I turned my attention to dolls.  In 2003 my younger brother asked me to make him a "creepy clown doll" for his birthday.  His name was Willy Tophat .  I used all the wrong paints, put sealer all over him so he was far too shiny but my brother loved it and I loved doing it.  I started applying what I had learned with makeup to the dolls and found I could make little monsters.  Painting them, sculpting, making these dark creations.  I've been working on them over the years and am very happy to finally be able to share them with all of you.

More than anything my heart belongs to making monsters.  These are my little monsters...my little devils.  There is nothing better than when they seem
to come to life right before my eyes.  When I can set them down, take a few steps back and they look "alive" I know I've done well.  I still have alot to learn and room to grow with all of my creations but that's the exciting part.  The more I learn and get to practice my craft the more frightening these dolls will become for all of you!

I thank you for visiting my page and supporting my work.

I would also like to dedicate all of the work that I do here at Devil Horn Studios to my beloved friend Gypsy.  Without her none of this would have been possible.  A little piece of her lives within each of these dolls.

Rest in Peace 2000-2009

I would also like to introduce you to my new partner in crime Mandy who we adopted from the amazing Homeward Bound Animal Rescue in Minnesota.  I find it impossible to create anything without a canine companion around.  If you are looking for a best buddy I encourage you to check them out!
